How to care for your M A L A - click on photo for info
Be gentle with your jewelry and take care when wearing them.
Your mala is not intended for all day, everyday wear. We recommend removing them before going to bed and at times when they could be damaged in any way.
Please beware that the thread and knots in your mala may stretch or become looser over time, therefore take extra care not to pull on your mala.
It is best not to wash your mala beads or allow them to become wet. If you have a silk tassel at the bottom of your mala, you should always avoid water.
To clean your mala beads, gently wipe the beads using a damp cloth and place out of sunlight to dry.
You can carefully comb or brush your tassels. Make them hang vertically to avoid excess tangles.
It is recommended that you do not wear perfume with your malas and that you keep them away from chemicals.
When not in use, please store your mala/jewelry in your mala bag, preferably rolled up in the plastic it came with or hang vertically to avoid excess tangles.
Treat it like the gentle piece of art that it is – but most importantly, love it and enjoy it!
